9th Street Reconstruction Project

The project involved the reconstruction of 9th Street from just west of Washington Avenue to the transition back to 8th Street by Fairbanks Avenue. Utility work included new water main, some sanitary sewer and storm sewer improvements, new snowmelt distribution between River and Columbia Avenue and new snowmelt transmission between Maple Avenue and the railroad tracks east of Columbia Avenue. Improvements also included a one-way to two-way conversion on 9th Street west of Pine Avenue, the addition of on-street parking from Maple to Columbia Avenue, bike lanes from River Avenue to Lincoln Avenue and mid-block crosswalks in the block between College and Columbia Avenues. Access / deliveries off of 8th Street. Project Investment: $7.1 Million
